I've written articles on LinkedIn over the years on substance abuse, employee behaviors in the workplace, mental health disorders, and other life issues. My material derives from 20 years+ in the Employee Assistance Professional (EAP) field; specifically, the couple thousand persons seen in the confidential setting of the counseling office and on the shop floors have fueled my writing. I have sat in a very unique position and have humbly learned. It is the employees and their family members who have taught me about "self-improvement". I hope that my articles inspire you to take better care of yourself: FIRST!
